What is the Salkantay Route?

How to Get to Soraypampa

To get to this small village, you need to follow these steps:

1. Take a car from Arcopata to Mollepata. The travel time is almost 2 hours and the cost is around USD 10.
2. From Mollepata, you can find public transportation to Soraypampa. The trip takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes, and the cost is around USD 5.

In Soraypampa, the main activities are hikes around the area, such as:

• Humantay Lake: From the village of Soraypampa, it takes almost 2 hours uphill to admire the beauty of the area. The return trip takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes.
